"... There is nothing that happens just by chance or accident, but all things happen according to the Pattern, and Purpose and Plan of Yahweh which just REPEATS itself over and over again." (Elohim text, Vol. IV, p. 66)

The purpose of this lecture is to prove that Yahweh knows the ending from the beginning (Isa. 46:9-10). He has given men visions of future events throughout the ages to prove his existence. (See Prov. 29:18; Dan. 9:24; Rev. 19:10, 22:7)

Prophecies also prepare men psychologically and spiritually for the next change or transformation on the horizon. Seers or heralds tell of an imminent change before the actual shift manifests. Without our own personal communication with Spirit, we will not be able to recognize if the herald is true or identify when the change will take place. We don't want to be in the same position as the Jewish leaders, knowing by the Law and Prophets that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, but missing the time of His coming.
