Introduction

The Roman Pontiff has declared the year 2000 A.D. a Jubilee for Roman Catholics throughout the world. The Pope believes that Jesus Christs second appearance will occur during this period and the Church wants to present itself spotless before the Savior.

Pope John Paul II has asked a number of other Christian denominations to celebrate this Jubilee as one Church in unity. Many are making great preparations for this event. John Paul has said that he wants to live to see this Jubilee and has set forth many changes in the church. The Pontiff has apologized and also asked forgiveness for many of the great atrocities the church has made over the last 2000 years. For example, he has asked pardon for the Inquisition, for bringing the slaves to America, for the silence of the Roman Catholic Church during the Holocaust.

What is the intent of this article?

The intent of this article is to examine the possibility of whether or not the Pope will see Jubilee or lead the Church into the 3rd millennium in accordance to the scriptures.

Many may wonder whether the scriptures reveal this. The answer is yes. The key in the scriptures is understanding the services of the Levite priesthood and the Messiahs ministry.

This article will also use the principles revealed to Henry C. Kinley in his book Elohim the Archetype Pattern of the Universe (Vol. 4; p. 61 © 1961 IDMR, Inc.), that he used to prophesy the death of Pope John 23rd. Now Pope John 23rd died three days before June 6, 1963 A.D., which we will discuss later in this article.

How did the Levite priests perform services?

Under the Law of Moses, the high priest served only 20 years before he retired. He became a priest at 30 and retired at the age 50 (Num. 4:23; Num. 8:24-25).

Here both Jubilee and Pentecost represent the principle of "50," for 50 years = 50 days in principle since 1 day = 1 year (Num. 14:34). At age 50, the high priest relinquished his priestly duties as the intercessor for Israel and they got a NEW high priest at Jubilee.

Did Yahshua the Messiah fulfill and remove the Levitical Priesthood?

The purpose of the Messiahs mission was to fulfill the scriptures, which was the Law and the Prophets or the Old Testament. Now the Messiah fulfilled (Mt. 5:17-18; Lk. 24:44-46) the Levite high priest for it represented Him being the High Priest after the order of Melchezedec.

Yahshua the Messiah began His ministry after John the Baptist physically baptized Him in water at the age of thirty (Lk. 3:20-23). This fulfilled the priest beginning His service at age thirty.

Now many may ask since the Messiah did not live 50 years, neither was He in His ministry 20 years, how did He retire the priesthood? The Messiah had to fulfill this "50," in principle or symbolically.

The key to explaining this mystery is that the Messiah was in His minister for 3 1/2 years. Dr. H. C. Kinley revealed that the Messiah was in His ministry for three Pentecosts or June 6 (the Hebrew month Sivan 6, Vol. 4, p. 69).

June 6 being Pentecost represents the principle of 50 for it is fifty days from the Feast of First Fruits [Note to the reader: 7 x 7 = 49 days + 1 = 50 (Lev. 25:8-16; Acts 2:1-4], which is Abib 16 on the Hebrew calendar. (See "Feast of First Fruits" on the On the Law section of the March/April 1996 issue of the "PLIM REPORT.") Simply put, Pentecost is seven Sabbaths from the Feast of First Fruits.

The fourth June 6 was the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out on His disciples. Yahshua was not in the flesh. He had resurrected and ascended into heaven. It should be noted that the Messiah was crucified, buried, and resurrected in a Jubilee year.

So,

Using the scriptures, 1 day = 1 year (Num. 14:34). So 200 days = 200 years. In Bible theology, the 200 years is the same as 20 years when the zeros are dropped or by adding the digits. So adding the digits in the number 20 (2+0) equals 2 and adding the digits in the number 200 ( 2+0+0) equals 2.

After the fourth Pentecost, the Messiah established the New Priesthood by retiring the Old Levitical priesthood along with the sacrifices that Israel offered for their sins. Paul said the following concerning the retirement of the priesthood. "If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life (Heb. 7:11-16)."

This set up a pattern of how the high priest retired and its fulfillment with the Messiah. These same principles repeat themselves with Pope John Paul II of Rome who claims he is the high priest (Vicar of Christ) between the people and Jesus or Yahshua. Now Paul said that there is no mediator between the Father and men, but the man Yahshua the Messiah (1 Tim. 2:5).

Does the Bible prophesy of Pope John XXIIIs death?

Below are shown the comparative calculations of the two Pope Johns XXlll with the true (Aaronite) Priesthood, under the Dispensation of the Law, to show the retirement possibility of the present Pope John XXlll as the last Pope, according to the statement of the Apostle Paul in 2 Thess. 2:7-8, which reads as follows. "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work, only he who now letteth (preventeth) will let (prevent), until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom Yahweh-Elohim shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:"

"The above prophetic calculations relative to Pope John XXllls death were contained in the first volume of "God, The Archetype (Original) Pattern of The Universe," published in October 1961.

One can see that this prophecy did come true for Pope John 23 was made Pope in October 1958 and reigned for three (3) years when this book was published. Adding another year would bring him into his 50th year (23 + 23 = 46 + 3 = 49 + 1 = 50) which would commence in October 1962. Then remembering that Pope John XXlll himself stated that he wished to live to see another Pentecost, and when he did get sick, he asked all of the 550 million of his church to pray for his recovery; it is apparent that he did not make it, as he died three (3) days short of June 3, 1963 of Pentecost just as had been prophesied according to the scriptures (Elohim the Archetype Pattern of the Universe, Vol. 4; p. 61 © 1961 IDMR, Inc.)."

Now you can arrive at this number another way. The above prophetic calculations and quote from Dr. Henry C. Kinley for Pope John 23rd death is based on the four Pentecosts. By starting with June 6, 1960 A.D. since 4 x 490 years equals 1960, this symbolizes the end of this Present age of Grace. It is four 70-week cycles from the Messiahs birth on the current Christian calendar just as there were four 490 year cycles from Abrahams birth in 1995 B.C. to the Messiahs birth. (See "What Is The 490 Year Cycle?" in the January/February 1993 issue of the "PLIM REPORT.") The four Pentecosts beginning with June 6, 1960 A.D. to June 6, 1963 A.D. correlate with the last four Pentecosts of Yahshua the Messiahs life that ended the Post Diluvian age and the Law of Moses and began this Present Age of Grace.

Can we compare Pope John Paul II and the Levite Priesthood?

Now the Roman Catholic priesthood is modeled after the Levite priesthood and the Pope is their high priest, who is elected for life. The predecessor of John Paul II was John Paul I who lived only 33 days. He mysteriously died in 1978.

John Paul II was elected in October of 1978. So his 20th year as a Pope will be October of 1998. The question is: "Will the Pope retire from office by death or medical reasons after serving his 20 years as the High priest?"

In addition, since the Pope or the "Vicar of Christ" has already declared the year 2000 A.D. as a Jubilee year and is praying that he sees it, will his wish come true. This being 2,000 years on the current calendar from the birth of the Messiah the question is: Will he see June 6 of the Jubilee year? Now the Messiah did not. A bigger question is what changes are going to take place in the Great Roman Catholic Church? The Old Covenant was brought to an end in the Jubilee with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which began the Age of Grace and the spiritual Kingdom on earth. Only time will tell if these principles repeat themselves.

Finally, for the skeptics, there are Roman Catholic saints to whom Yahweh-Elohim has shown in visions the lineage of the popes since the 12th century. St. Malachy (1094 1148) an Irish monk, had a vision that prophesied the future succession of the 112 popes unto doomsday. According to St. Malachys vision, there are only two more popes left before the destruction of Rome and the judgement. The prophecies of the Monk of Padu, an 18th-century monk, confirmed St. Malachys prophecies concerning the lineage of the popes. Some are asking whether the president that is elected in the year 2000 A.D. will finish his term? In future issues of "PLIM REPORT" this topic will be discussed. Clearly, the upcoming Jubilee year will be very interesting? As the rock star Prince said, the people will party until 1999, then oops they will be out of time.
