The Mark of the Beast, Part One
Ever since the Apostle John wrote about the mark of the beast', many great men have tried to understand its meaning. "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three-score and six (Rev. 13:16-18)." What is the mark of the beast'? What does the number 666 mean? What is its spiritual reality? Who is the man with the number? A small remnant of Christians realize that the mark 666' is not only physical, but has a deeper spiritual significance for mankind. The majority of Christian religions, on the other hand, have anticipated outward manifestations of the mark of he beast'. They have placed the mark' on various Roman emperors, the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire, or Roman Catholic Popes. The masses were correct in assuming the mark' represents a physical manifestation of some nation or person. However, they failed to understand the symbolism behind the mark of the beast'. The greater reality of the mark' points to a spiritual principle--the beastly nature that is within every man's psyche. |

Birth of Christ vs Birth of Jesus, Part Two
In this lecture, Dr. Kinley describes the two manifestations of the one Godhead: Christ (the incorporeal) and Jesus (the physical). He explains that the birth of Christ, or the anointed who created all things, occurred before the angelic and physical creation. The birth of Jesus, our savior, occurred through the loins of the Virgin Mary. This is Christ's birth into a physical body. You can find a summation of his main point in the November/December 1995 "PLIM REPORT" under the subtitle, Is Spirit manifest in the incorporeal and the physical? The Origin of the Confessional |
![]() |
This article will examine several aspects of Roman Catholic confession. We will investigate the scriptures Roman Catholics use to support confession and discover whether these verses have been misinterpreted. We will discuss how ancient pagan cultures use confession and discover whether these verses have been misinterpreted. We will discuss how ancient pagan cultures use confession in their ceremonies and compare them to confessions made to Roman Catholic priests. We will explore the method priests use to extract confession from sinners. We will also examine how Israel confessed to a priest under the law, how the Messiah fulfilled this, and how we should confess sins in this Present Age of Grace. Finally, we will look at the innate flaw in the act of confessing. [Note: In future articles, we will examine the guilt that develops as a result of sin].

The Parable of the Sower
The intent of this article is to examine on e of the Messiah's classical parables--'the Sower'. This parable has great psychological meaning both in terms of spiritual salvation and everyday life. It simply explains how some people can go through life, learn many things, and mature, while others do not seem to learn anything and continue to be immature in every aspect of life. We will use the scriptures, the tabernacle pattern, and other universal truths in the investigation of this parable. |

The Mark of the Beast, Part Two
It is quite obvious that the man with the mark' has changed over the last 2000 years. We must understand who had the mark of the beast' (666) when John wrote Revelation after seeing it in a vision in A.D. 96. The reigning world power during John's time was the Roman Empire, ruled by the Caesars. Although tolerant of the many pagan religions scattered among the provinces of Rome, the Caesars used brute force to unite the kingdom. Christianity did not become Rome's official religion until the fourth century which by that time was much different from what the Apostles and their disciples had once taught. When the Apostle John sent the book of Revelation to the seven assemblies, they did not have a full understanding of his writings. One reason for their confusion was that many of he prophecies that John saw and wrote were not intended to occur during his lifetime, but in the future. These early assemblies, however, thought the images in John's vision would transpire in their lifetime. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

The Feast of First Fruits
This article will show that the Feast of First Fruits' is a universal principle. Both Gentiles and Jews celebrated some form of this feast day, but neither understood its spiritual reality. We will explore the historical origins of the Feast of First Fruits' that existed in modified form in most cultures before the Law was given to Israel at Mt. Sinai. We will also illustrate how the Messiah fulfilled it(Isa. 46:9-10) and brought this feast day to an end (Rom. 2:14; Col. 2:14-17) at His resurrection. Most Christian scholars know that this feast day points to or is a type and shadow' of the Messiah's resurrection (John 5:39; Mt. 27:52-53). Th e Messiah is the reality of this feast, or the first born of all creation (I Cor. 15:20-22). We cannot obtain salvation by keeping this or any other feast day, for we are all saved by Grace through faith, not works of the Law (Eph. 2:8-9). On a personal basis, this article will show that the soul, to whom the Messiah has revealed Himself, is the first fruits. This process begins with the soul accepting the words of Truth (Jn. 8:32) and having spiritual experiences. The spiritual reality of the Feast of First Fruits' is a soul harvesting the fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22) and exemplifying a resurrected state. What happened to the 12 Disciples/Apostles?
This article will deal with only the Messiah's twelve disciples who later became Apostles, and Mathias whom the eleven chose to replace Judas Iscariot. Space will not allow us to deal with Apostle Paul. Future issues of the PLIM REPORT will explore Paul's life. It is in this light that we will give a brief history of the Apostles after Pentecost. The reader must understand that most of the writings regarding what happened to the twelve disciples is not according to the scriptures, but based on church tradition. Why do Cultures Conflict? Can We Control Anger? Part Four
In the last issue of the PLIM REPORT'(Jan. - Feb. 96), the article entitled "Cultural Beliefs and Their Affect upon the Mind: Does Culture Control Anger?", explains that cultural rules or social programming determine when, how and where one expresses anger. It also showed that it is impossible to discuss any human behavior without taking culture into account. Thus, culture is the foundation for all human behavior and culture acts as a law within the human mind. In this article, we will deal with the causes of anger and the solutions for controlling it on a psychological and spiritual level. The Bible gives hints that controlling anger is a virtue. King Solomon stated the following:"He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty...(Pro. 16:32)". Clearly, Solomon expresses the virtue of exercising self-control. He goes on to state how to avoid getting someone angry in a heated exchange of words. "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger (Pro. 15:1)". The Messiah said you should not get angry without cause. He said: "...That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement:...(Matt. 5:22)..."So there has to be some method of controlling anger on both psychological and spiritual levels. It is with these works of wisdom that this article begins to investigate anger. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
The Messiah used parables to describe the Kingdom of Heaven' and the purpose of Yahweh. In the January/February 1996 issue of the "PLIM REPORT", "The Sower Parable" explains the importance of parables in conveying spiritual principles and why the Messiah used them. In the wheat and the tares parable, the Messiah explains the purpose of Good and Evil, its effect upon mankind, and the power of the truth and lie on the mind. Many philosophers, theologians, sages and other scholars of various areas of study have tried to explain the mysteries found in this simple parable, yet they have only brought out a superficial level of understanding. Every Sunday School has taught this simple parable, but missed the true divine lessons laid down therein. |

Angels, Part One
Angels or spirit beings have always played an important role in human history and religion. The Bible illustrates that angels have appeared to humans of the middle-eastern cultures long before the formation of any of the world's major religions, as recorded in the book of Genesis (Gen. 18:1-2; 22:15) Angels had a major role in establishing Christianity, Judaism, and the Islamic religions that shaped the history of the world for the last 2,000 years. For example, an angel appeared to Moses in the burning bush giving him a commission to deliver Israel from Egypt. This divine intercession established Israel as a nation. Angels appeared at the birth of the Messiah and at His resurrection to announce these events to Israel. It is alleged that the angel Gabriel came to Mohammed who established Islam. The intent of this article, which is divided into two parts, is to answer questions Christianity has been unable to answer because they refuse to use the tabernacle pattern given to Moses and Israel. When you use the divine measuring rod correctly, it reveals many of the mysteries of Yahweh. The questions we will answer are as follows:
These are some of the questions this article will answer. Before beginning to examine the role of angels, we will define the word angel'. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

The Feast of Weeks or Pentecost
The intent of this article is to show the physical and spiritual significance of Pentecost' or the Feast of Weeks' and its fulfillment with the Messiah (Matt. 5:17-18; Lk. 24:44-46). This article will emphasize that all of us must receive our own Pentecost' individually which is the Holy Spirit being revealed unto our consciousness (Jn. 16:14). Each of us should be striving for the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, comfort, and inspire us. Many Christians fail to see how feast days point to the Messiah and how He brought them to an end from a physical standpoint along with the Old Covenant (Rom. 10:1-4). Paul said the feasts under the law were:"...a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation (Heb. 9:9-10)". Did you know...??Where the Crucifixion and Cross Originated?
To most Christians that answer the question of where did the crucifixion and the cross originate, they will say the Bible and point to Jesus' (i.e. Yahshua's) death on the cross for the sons of Israel. Many think that these symbols are exclusively Christian concepts and feel it is absurd for anyone to ask such questions. How would the average Christian and student of the Bible feel knowing that the origins of the cross are pagan or non-Christian in nature and originated before the Bible was written? Clearly ignorance has a way of blinding the minds of many. There are many Christian ministers that feel if their parishioner knew that the cross and the crucifixion existed throughout all cultures before the writing of the Bible, it would take something away from the Bible. There are other ministers that simply do not know this fact. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

The Power of Guilt
Guilt is one of the most powerful emotions within a man's consciousness that shapes human personality and society. Guilt governs our behavior, colors the way we perceive ourselves and slants our outlook of the world. We can understand guilt if we view it as a self-policing felling and an emotion of self-punishment that all societies must encourage and maintain to influence individual actions. A person that is guiltless is a detriment to himself and society for there is nothing to prevent him from doing harm to another human. Psychologist call individuals that are guiltless psychopaths. This is the positive and healthy side of guilt. However, as with any principle, it has a negative side, that we will discuss later in this article. In some instances, an entire culture can experience guilt. Guilt can permeate a society or country for some injustice that they, collectively allowed. For example, Germany experiences guilt for starting World War II and participating in the Nazi Germany Holocaust. Japan, on the other hand, collectively refuses to accept guilt for bombing Pearl Harbor that brought the U.S. into World War II. It is the intent of this article to explore the basic operation of guilt in accordance to the tabernacle pattern. This article will show in accordance to the Bible and modern psychology how guilt shapes our lives. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

The Tree of Life
This article intends to show, in the space allowed, the spiritual reality of the tree of life' and how it relates t the Messiah and a man's soul. We must understand that the scriptures re symbolic. What this means is that if we are to grasp some meaning from the tree of life' or any other Biblical story, besides a history lesson, we must understand their symbolism. We have to take these stories out of their historical context and realize they express psychological principles that we must apply to our life. The trees' mankind ignorantly worshiped symbolically represented Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Trees show forth the principles of power, stability in a storm, renewal of life, fruition, and growth from a seed into a giant timber. All these principles represent the fruits of the Spirit' and are absolutely necessary for a soul to be reborn into the spirit unto eternal life. "The tree of life is, in essence, a description of how God manifest himself to the world (p. 8)" said Gareth Knight in his book Magic and the Western Man. We will also examine how other cultures, such as the Hindu, Jewish mystics (Khabbalists) and others, view the tree of life'. To the surprise of many, the views of these various cultures are quite correct and accurately portray the reality of mystical trees in certain aspects. Before we begin an in depth analysis of the tree of life', we have to have some understanding of the mind of primitive man. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

Angels Part Two
As mentioned in Part One of this article, the scriptures reference very little, explicitly or outrightly, about the structure and operation of the nonmaterial creation. There are only occasional hints in the Bible about the angelic order. It is quite obvious that the angelic creation must have a divine arrangement since both the human body and the physical creation have order. The key to understanding the angelic order is first knowing that the physical creation is a shadow or reflection of the heavenly realm (Rom. 1:19-20). Secondly, the Tabernacle Pattern and the 12 tribes of Israel are examples that we can use to understand the angelic creation. Before exploring these two points, we will examine the Roman Catholic traditional interpretation of the angelic order and some other theories on the matter. The Feast of Trumpets
In previous issues of the "PLIM REPORT", we covered all seven feast days that Yahweh gave to Israel at Mt. Sinai, except the Feast of Trumpets'. Many, including the Israelites, considered this feast day least significant because there were not great ceremonies performed on that day. Basically, the Feast of Trumpets' consisted of blowing the trumpet on the 1st day of the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar (Num. 29:1). The Old Testament does not provide much detail on the Feast of Trumpets' in comparison to the other feast days. Nevertheless, as far as Yahweh is concerned, all of these feast days had great spiritual significance and they revealed the purpose, plan, and nature of Spirit, in accordance with the tabernacle pattern. The New Heaven and New Earth
The intent of this article is to examine the meaning of the new heaven and new earth' according to the scriptures. We will show that the new heaven and new earth' have both a physical and spiritual meaning. We will explain that the new heaven and new earth' that the prophets of Israel referred to represented the regeneration of mankind's hearts and minds from the fall of Adam and Eve (Rom. 5:14; 12:2). The 3-fold tabernacle pattern revealed to Israel in the Wilderness is the key that unravels this mystery. However, before we begin this examination, we will briefly review both the Jews' and the Christians' historic views on the matter. |

The Ark of the Covenant
Of all the things Yahweh Elohim told Israel and man to make, the Ark of the Covenant stands out as the most famous. It even supersedes Noah's Ark which saved eight souls alive. Noah and his wife with their three sons and their wives, were the only humans that withstood the flood because they entered the ark (I Pet. 3:19-20). The reason the Ark of the Covenant enjoys such celebrity status is because it was the center of Israel's worship and Elohim performed many wonders by the Ark of the Covenant. The movie, "The Raiders of the Lost Ark", also popularized the Ark and its miraculous power. All students of the Bible and divine metaphysics must understand the spiritual significance of the Ark of the Covenant. Elohim gave Israel the Ark to reveal how Spirit communicates with men. The purpose of this article is to explain the structure and function of the Ark of the Covenant which will enable us to understand the operation of Universal Spirit Law in the angelic and physical creations, and especially within man's mind. How will God Reconcile and Judge the World in Righteousness?
Greetings in the Bond of Peace. I am happy indeed to be in California, the message that God gave to me in the year 1932. I would like to say that at one time I was confused with the many religious philosophies and dogmas. I, like many other people, belonged to this church and that church. In fact, I was assistant pastor. I reviewed the teachings and philosophies of all the theology books that I was able to get my hands on and I studied all the Biblical commentators. You'll believe me when I say I've spent quite a lot of money seeking all of my life, better than 40 years, to find and know something about the Great God of this Stellar Ecclesiastical Universe. I wanted to know Him as He really was. Is it possible for world religions to agree? Then a thought came into my mind as I went along and listened to the philosophies I read so much about. I wondered how God could possible judge the world in righteousness. How could every man see eye to eye and face to face? How could that be accomplished? I began to look at it like this. I'd go to one church and then to another and I'd examine each philosophy and each doctrine one by one. When I was not able to arrive at any conclusion at all, I had to throw up my hands in despair. Blood of the Avenger
Under the Law of Moses, Yahweh allowed for one instance of justifiable murder. A victim's family could take vengeance on the perpetrator who killed their relative. In fact, many Gentile nations and tribes believed in this means of carrying out justice from the inception of man. According to the Dictionary of the Bible by James Hastings: "The practice of blood-revenge is one of the most widely spread customs of human society, and is by no means confined to the Semitic races, although it is still found in full vigor among the Arabs. By the Bedouin of Sinaitic peninsula, for instance, the vendetta is kept up to the fifth generation...(p. 550)." As these tribes became modern nations, the court systems took over the function of justice from these nations and did not leave it to the individual's family or the elders of the tribes. The intent of this article is to show the spiritual reality of the Israelite's version of family revenge and how it was carried out under the New Covenant. How did the Custom of Speaking in Tongues Develop?
Many Christian sects and denominations claim to speak in tongues. In reality, they are uttering gibberish or an unintelligible speech at the height of religious fervor. This phenomena is often referred to as glossolalia or the gift of tongues. According to James Hastings in the Dictionary of the Bible (DB):"Possession of the gift enabled the believer to give voice to ecstatic utterances in moments of high religious excitement (p. 1008)." These congregations believe and teach that speaking an incomprehensible language which they label speaking in tongues, is a sign that they have the Holy Spirit. They ridicule those that can't and don't speak in these so-called tongues. In reality, speaking in tongues is a sign of the Holy Spirit. The Messiah said:"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;(Mk. 16:17) Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

How are Men Led by the Spirit Under the New Covenant?
Most religious organizations profess that their faith is based on the Bible and claim they are under the New Covenant. However, most would strongly disagree with a parishioner who said he was led by the Spirit (Rom. 8:14), a still small voice (I Kings 18:12), dreams, visions, or revelations (Joel 2:28-29). In fact, those who experience the very elements that constitute the New Covenant, often are perceived as blatantly disobedient to, and at odds with ecclesiastic leaders. Those led by the Spirit, though, would rather bear man's anger and wrath, a much more insignificant consequence, than Yahweh's penalty for violating His guidance, inspiration, and enlightenment (Acts 4:19, 5:29; I Cor. 9:16; Gal. 1:10). To be led by the Spirit may not be popular simply because the thoughts that delight the spiritually minded will differ from the fleshy, carnal ideas and interest the majority of people on earth. Nonetheless, to follow our inner light is infinitely more fascinating and extremely more peaceful in our spiritual and psychological development, that blindly following men. This article will be the first this year in a series of essays that explore areas pertinent to the New Covenant. This examination will focus on several questions regarding the universality of the New Covenant. Who are men that are led by the Spirit and why do they conflict with organized religion? How does the New Covenant relate to the Old Covenant? When and how did the New Covenant begin? Did the Apostles obey the Spirit in spite of persecution? Did they ever violate the New Covenant? Can we? How does disannulling a natural agreement point to breaking a spiritual covenant? Is the act of adultery a violation of our conscience? What are its consequences? Is the New Covenant only for the Jews? What significance do dreams and visions have under the New Covenant? Are they universal? What great leaders have been led by dreams and visions? Have religious sects been persecuted for following the Spirit? Under the New Covenant is intuition commonplace in our spiritual lives? To begin this investigation we will explore those who follow the Spirit. |

Poverty
Poverty is on the increase; plaguing the citizens of leading modern nations throughout the world, especially in Japan, the U.S. and Europe. Their politicians and national economists have pledged its elimination for the last thirty or forty years, but poverty as well as homelessness has increased since the late 1970's. Neither national economies nor various governments' social welfare programs can alleviate poverty. The great Master, the Messiah, said:"For ye have the poor always with you;...(Mt. 26:11)" He knew that all the world's physical poverty points to the poverty within the soul of man. This can be seen in how humans treat each other throughout the world. The intent of this article is to examine poverty under the Law of Moses, examine how Yahweh told the children of Israel to handle it, and show its spiritual reality. Testimony of Yahshua is the Spirit of Prophesy
Many patriarch, disciples, and Apostles wrote of the testimony of Elohim (God) or the Messiah (Christ, Psa. 19:7; John 21:24; I Cor. 1:6, 2:4), but the Apostle John was the first to hear an angel in his vision declare that the witnesses regarding the Messiah were prophetic (Rev.19:10). An angel in John's vision made this statement after the city of Mystery Babylon had fallen. The angels in heaven had praised Yahweh for His true and righteous judgments and the marriage of the Lamb was about to take place (Rev. 18:20-24; 19:1-9). The Apostle John fell at the angel's feet to worship him, but the angel forbade him saying he was a creature just like John who had the testimony of Yahshua. Instead, the angel said:"...workshop Elohim (God); for the testimony of Yahshua (Jesus) is the spirit of prophesy (Rev. 19:10)". This article will explore the meaning of this scripture so that the everyday person can glean some understanding from this verse and start to see the divine origin of Yahweh's purpose. To begin this investigation we must define some terms and agree on some basic premises. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

How did the Custom of Laying on of Hands Develop?
Historically, the human hand has always had a prominent place in man's culture. In religious ceremonies Christian ministers and priest lay hands on members of their congregation. They do this to heal the sick, to bestow blessings on those who request them for ordination of ministers, to allocate a place of honor, etc. The principle of laying on hands has even been extended to our secular court system. The judge swears in all witnesses by requiring them to raise their right hand and lay their left hand on the Bible. The court believes that having them perform this ceremony ensures that the witness will usually tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. However, our modern society has largely ignored, forgotten or lost the meaning of the symbolic hand gestures performed in these rituals. They have become traditions or customs veiled in superstition that have come down through the ages. No one has really questioned their validity even in the face of modern psychology. |

6th Trumpet
In every Revelation article in the "PLIM REPORT", we have stressed that the images John saw in his panoramic vision are symbolic and aren't exclusively future events. These images have in principle, repeated themselves over and over down through the ages of time. For example, the seven trumpets can be correlated with the seven days of creation that Moses saw in his vision (Gen. 1st Chapter) and the seven steps in the tabernacle pattern (Ex. 25:8-9). Thus, the seven trumpets also operate by a pattern (Heb. 8:5). In the 6th day of Moses' vision, Elohim created the man and beasts before returning to rest or Sabbath. The number "6" is one short of the number "7" , which is perfection or rest. Using the pattern of the tabernacle and various correlations, we can arrive at the correct divine interpretation of the 6th trumpet as John saw it in his vision. The 6th trumpet is correlated with the sixth step or 2nd vail in the tabernacle pattern which divides the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. The interpretation of the sixth trumpet sounding correlates with the opening of some doorway or vail. In the children of Israel's migration out of Egypt, the sixth step was the River Jordan, which divided the Wilderness from Canaan Land or the Promised Land (Num. 34:2-12). The sixth trumpet sounding is the last trumpet before the seventh trumpet, which is rest or Sabbath. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

Will the Messiah Appear in the Year 2000?
The answer to this question is unequivocally and categorically No! The Messiah will not physically appear nor establish His Kingdom on earth by the second millennium as most Christians believe and teach. Neither is the erroneous doctrine true that the entire physical universe will end within the next five years. This is not to say that there will never be a fulfillment of the prophesies in the book of Revelation, nor an end of time, space, and matter, but it will definitely not be on or before the year 2000 A.D. In fact, this article will show that these end time prophecies don't have any scriptural basis. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

What is Spiritual Energy?
Spiritual energy is a non-material energy that is part of the very essence of man and the physical universe. The activities of the mind or soul, such as thoughts , ideas, intuition, will, creativity, etc., largely comprise spiritual energy. It is often referred to as "psychic" or "spirit" energy. Unfortunately, the word "spirit" has been so over used that it tell us absolutely nothing, except that spirit is a non-material substance. Thus we can still remain ignorant of this energy. Science cannot physically measure, observe, or experiment on this energy in a laboratory. Currently researchers in the field of parapsychology are investigating the so-called "psychic powers of the mind", such as telepathy, clairvoyance, and telekinesis. Para-psychologists want to know what form of energy performs these things. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back IssuesSubject Index of Featured PLIM Articles | PLIM Homepage |

Marriage: Before, During and After the Mosaic Law
Throughout human life, the most notable rite of passage between birth and death is marriage. In mankind's history, strict customs and rituals have always governed marriage. Most cultures in whatever religion considered it a "sacred bond". The intent of this article is to examine marriage before the Mosaic Law, under the Law, and after the Messiah removed it. We will also present the spiritual reality of marriage. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back IssuesSubject Index of Featured PLIM Articles | PLIM Homepage |

How Did Virgin Mary Worship Begin?
For millions of devoted Roman Catholics, the Virgin Mary has become a much revered icon (i.e. symbol, image, idol, picture) who they idolize and adore. Roman Catholics teach that the Virgin Mary was granted special status by virtue of her being the woman through whose womb the Messiah was born. They call her the mother of God and claim that she herself was without sin, hence she is able to act as benevolent Mediator between humans and God. In other words, Mary (the mother) has been set up as the preferred Mediator between man and God, instead of the Messiah (Yahweh's son, Matt. 3:16). She is supposed to have a more appeasing and merciful nature toward man's imperfections. Catholics believe that she is able to quell the wrath of God (or Jesus) against us because of our sins although there is no scriptural proof that the Virgin Mary is our mediator. In fact, the scriptures state the opposite. "For there is one Elohim (God), and one mediator between Elohim (God) and men, the man Yahshua (Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5)." Science vs Religion
Dr. Andre Eggelletion, a student of the Florida branch of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research, Inc. has written this article to examine the historic conflict between religion and science in their zeal to define reality and the nature of the universe. Both disciplines have attempted to answer some fundamental questions that have faced every truth seeker. Is the earth round or flat? Is the earth or the sun the center of the solar system? How does the universe work and how do the planets move within space and time? How far does the universe extend? What is behind life on this planet? Did the universe spring forth from nothingness with a bang? How old is the earth? Dr. Eggelletion has summarized some of the most famous arguments for us. His article shows that the views of science and religion on how the universe began can be reconciled by using the three-fold tabernacle pattern that Yahweh showed unto Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai. The Christians conclude that God created the heavens and earth in 6 days by literally interpreting the first book of Genesis. The scientist believe the earth began with a big bang some 15 billion years ago. Dr. Eggelletion shows that religion and science are looking at two manifestations of the same principle--that of matter moving in an orderly fashion from an abstract to a concrete state. The 7th Trumpet Explained
In this series of seven trumpets, we have tried to make the seekers of truth understand that they cannot take the seven trumpets literally; for they represent spiritual principles. We must grasp their deep symbolic meaning. If this does not occur, then anyone could lead us to believe all kinds of erroneous interpretations that defy even common sense. Centuries have gone by and the book of Revelations still remains an enigma to the Christian community that supposedly talk with God and understand His purpose. |

Pineal Gland and its Mysteries: Explaining the Effects of Light and Darkness on a Man's Consciousness
This article will explain the spiritual reality of the pineal gland, discuss two of the hormones it secret (serotonin and melatonin), and explore their operation to show that divine principles are laid down right within man [Note: The pineal gland secretes many hormones that medical science ha not yet identified. In this article we will deal with only two: serotonin and melatonin. Over recent years, numerous national magazines (Newsweek, August 7, 1995, Time, etc.) Have written stories on these two hormones.] Our purpose is to understand fully how Spirit interacts with the consciousness or the mind to bring about change. We will compare this with the interaction or effect of light-dark periods on the pineal gland and its effects on the body. We will use the scriptures, the tabernacle pattern, and current scientific data to make our argument. To preserve the clarity of thought, we have kept the use of scientific terminology to a minimum. Let us begin this article with a brief history of man's views on the pineal gland. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back IssuesSubject Index of Featured PLIM Articles |PLIM Homepage |

Spiritual Covenant by Faith
In order to educate Israel in spiritual things, God gave them the literal first, then the physical. That was imposed on them until the time came to let them in on it: the revelation of God, which He dept hidden within Himself until the appointed time. Isaiah said it this way, "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O Elohim (God), beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him (Isa. 64:4)." Paul is only repeating what Isaiah said. "But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim (God) hath prepared for them that love him (I Cor. 2:9). Feast of Unleavened Bread
To come to a true knowledge of our Creator, we must understand the symbolic meaning of the feast days that Yahweh have the Hebrews at Mt. Sinai. Our Creator, who is Spirit, only gave His creatures physical ceremonies to symbolically convey His attributes and to explain true worship. In other word, Spirit uses natural things to reveal His invisible, spiritual principles (Rom. 1:19-20; John 3:12). The feasts and ordinances laid down in the Law of Moses were some of the natural things used to accomplish this goal. Now problems arise when humans interpret the symbols, such as feast days, ceremonies, and rituals, as reality. The main difficulty in translating the signs (commonly used by al cultures to convey ideas) into reality, is that the mind's perception about truth becomes clouded or confused. What the mind perceives is the result of what is conceived within it. For example, the Israelites confused the physical feast days with eternal life (Jn. 17:1-4). They thought that if they performed these rituals unerringly, this gave them eternal life. The Master, the Messiah, told them that their perceptions were distorted. He said: "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me (Jn. 5:39). What is the Significance of the 12 Tribes of Israel?
Many Christian organizations talk about the twelve tribes of Israel, but they fail to understand that these people were a model representing and demonstrating spiritual principles (Heb. 12:1; 8:5). Many think the tribes of Israel were just some people Elohim (God) chose and blessed with some laws to follow (Rm.3:1-2). Even today many Christian denominations are still trying to mimic Israel's laws and ceremonies not understanding that they point to spiritual principles. (See On the Law, "Feast of Unleavened Bread,"). The word Israel means having power with Elohim (God) (Gen. 32:26-27). Other tribes of humans, who believed in the God of their imaginations, lived upon the earth at the same time as the Hebrews. Yahweh (the Lord), however, chose Israel to be an example or model to the world to show what it means to have power with Elohim (God)' (Deu. 4:6-8). The Significance of the 3-Fold Brain, Part One
Most humans are unaware that our five senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell) may not necessarily be accurate in perceiving reality. There are other factors that greatly influence our perception. As we intercourse with the environment, nearly everyone is unconscious that our culture, as much as our senses, relay the world to us as "it really is". It is a known fact that people do not see everything the same way and often, after viewing the same words, events, or facts, reach different conclusions. The most famous current example of this phenomenon is the Los Angeles, California trial of O.J. Simpson. In polls taken by numerous radio and television stations, newspapers and magazines, two-thirds of the whit people believed he was guilty and two-thirds of the blacks or African-Americans thought he was innocent. You may wonder how can two sets of people look at the same evidence and reach two different conclusions? This is in spite of the fact that everybody's brain operates the same way. The answer lies in the fact that every culture gives each ethnic group a different world view. So, clearly, ideas and thought patterns affect our sensory input. The Bible illustrates another example of people reaching different conclusions after reading the same words. Historically, distinct denominations have interpreted the scripture differently. The reason lies in the fact that the mind perceives only what is already conceived WITHIN it. The scriptures state in plain, simple terms that God or Elohim is within us (Luke 17:20); Col. 1:26; Job 23:13). However, many Christian organizations will carry out actions and maintain religious beliefs that contradict this fundamental assumption or truth. The Catholic ritual of the Holy Eucharist demands that the congregation believe that the Messiah is embodied in the bread and wine served to the people. Any dogma that limits Spirit (or binds the Holy Spirit in consecrated bread and wine) and does not teach that Spirit is universal denies the power of Elohim within a man. Believing that we must eat something physical to obtain eternal life violates a divine law (Heb. 10:28-29). The Seven Plagues, Part One
Ever since A.D. 96, when the Apostle John saw the seven plagues in his vision on the Isle of Patmos, Biblical scholars have participate in innumerable discussions and have written many books on the subject (Rev. 15th and 16th Chapters). Yahweh (the Lord) did not reveal to John in his vision the how, where or when of these plagues. For the last 2000 years many Christian sects have prophesied dates for these plagues, but their prophecies have all failed. Clearly, their continued failures have shown that they did no understand the Apostles John's vision. What they offered was sheer speculation and private interpretation (I Pet. 1:19; Hab. 2:2-3). Most visions contain a series of images, before the seer completely understands the vision or receives an interpretation. One cannot take a dream and give an interpretation without knowing something about the dreamer and usually there are other dreams that aid in the interpretation. This process can extend over many years. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back IssuesSubject Index of Featured PLIM Articles | PLIM Homepage |

Sex and the Bible
The intent of this article is to show that the customs and traditions man had established to regulate sex are universal principles. These laws were in operation long before Yahweh (the Lord) have Israel the Law of Moses (Rom. 2:14). Second, we will examine the spiritual significance of sex. Third, we will explore man's historical views about sex and show that many ordinances of Moses' Law were already social customs of the middle eastern culture. Most Christians think the Yahweh (the Lord) gave these laws only to Israel, that they came directly from heaven, and that no other man had prior knowledge of them. We will prove that this is not so. Yahweh (the Lord) gave Israel the Law to show them how to worship Him. Finally, we will prove that under the New Covenant, we have to be led by the Spirit, not morals and ethics, in order to have full self control of our desires. Birth of Christ vs Birth of Jesus
If you notice, the bible dictionary spoke of Jesus Christ. It didn't make any distinction between Jesus and Christ. That is our objective, to show you in reality, [there is] such a distinction. In dealing with the nation of Israel, the Apostles realized that they had to be very careful about what they said to them; because they had the Law of Moses and the books of the prophets. To talk to them intelligently about Christ, or the real Messiah [the spirit that quickens every man and dwell within each of us], then they didn't have too much to say about Jesus [the physical manifestation of Christ who lived in the flesh for 33 years]. That is to say they didn't speak of Him as they had in later years as Jesus Christ, as we would say, John Jackson, etc. They distinguished between one Jesus (physical) and the other Christ (incorporeal). Day of Atonement
The 'Day of Atonement' also called Yom Kippur is the most sacred of the seven Hebrew feast days. Israel celebrated it on the tenth day of the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. This was the day that the high priest made atonement for Israel before Yahweh who forgave their sins for that entire year (Lev. 16:29-30). The Jews still celebrate it today, but without physical animal sacrifices. Many Christians do not know that the 'Day of Atonement' exists in the scriptures, even though it is in the old testament. Throughout history, various sects in Judaism and small Christian sects have tried to mimic this feast day thinking it would rectify some situation. Recently, African-American men participated in the Million Man March as a 'Day of Atonement'. However, in doing so they really illustrated their ignorance of the true purpose of this day and how to keep it in the spirit. While we have witnessed the enthusiasm that the march has generated, it is important to separate the intent of the Million Man March and the reality of Yahweh's (the Lord's) 'Day of Atonement'. The intent of this article is to show that Yahweh (the Lord) instituted the 'Day of Atonement' with the children of Israel, Yahshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) fulfilled it, and we should keep it spiritually under the New Covenant. The Significance of the 3-Fold Brain, Part Two
The intent of this article is to examine the effects that the belief system has upon the body, soul (mind) and spirit. This will be done using the scriptures, modern psychology, and science. All humans are born with a physical body that operates the same way, but there are genetic differences in each of us according to our DNA. As each human is physically different, our belief systems make us unique from a psychological standpoint. What really shapes our basic instincts, desires, perceptions, feelings, emotions, (i.e. psychological functions) and controls our individual actions are belief systems. These thoughts in a man's mind today are based upon many factors such as race (black, red, white, yellow), nationality, education, religion, and economic status. The Seven Plagues, Part Two
As we continue this article from the last issue of the "PLIM REPORT" magazine on the fourth through seventh plagues, please remember that we are comparing the plagues that John saw with the plagues poured out on Egypt. "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and the power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And the men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of Elohim (God), which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory" (Rev. 16:8-9). The pouring out "his vial upon the sun", has great spiritual significance. This pouring out cannot be taken literally; it is symbolic of Yahweh's (the Lord's) wrath afflicting those who claim to have light or illumination, but do not. In Egypt the 'sun' symbolized Pharaoh because he was called the son of Ra, who the Egyptians believed was the Sun. Yahweh (the Lord) pouring the 'vial upon sun' occurred when Yahweh (the Lord) plagued Egypt and destroyed Pharaoh's kingdom. Some would consider an Anti-Messiah, like Hitler or Stalin, etc, posing as the Messiah (I John 2:18, 22), the true sun (Son). All Anti-Messiah's are symbolically represented as the sun because they pretend to give knowledge or light to men (Isa. 14:12-14). Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back Issues |

Resurrection vs Reincarnation, Part One
In this article we will investigate the principle of reincarnation since the vast portion of mankind believed in some form of reincarnation before the Messiah's birth, death, burial and resurrection and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit June 6, A.D. 33, in Jerusalem and continues to believe after. This article will also explain the power of the resurrection NOW! In this examination, we will use the divine tabernacle pattern, the Holy Scriptures, and universal scientific principles to scrutinize reincarnation. Let us quote the words of Gautama Buddha which will be a guide in any investigation of Truth.Believe nothing, O monks, merely because you have been told it...or because it is traditional, or because you yourselves have imagined it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings--that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide:. Before we begin, the term reincarnation should be defined. Subscribe to the PLIM Report | PLIM Directory of Back IssuesSubject Index of Featured PLIM Articles | PLIM Homepage |

Verification of the Pattern in Man
Man is made in the image and likeness of God. In this lesson, we shall verify and prove this statement. As you learned in a previous lesson, God first appeared to Moses in a vision in incorporeal form (Exo. 24:9-10). Moses recognized God at that time as a great anthropomorphic being. God then instantaneously transformed Himself into an intangible sanctuary or tabernacle, completely furnished with several instruments. Moses was instructed to use this Pattern to build the tangible sanctuary in the wilderness. God said He would dwell among His people in the physical tabernacle that Moses would build. God's metamorphosis into the form of a sanctuary, directly from the incorporeal structure of a man, is evidence that the human body is constituted exactly like this tabernacle . Meditation
Many people, especially those in Christendom, have questions about the value of meditation in their spiritual growth and development even though its validity is clearly delineate d in the Holy Scriptures. Some dismiss meditation as sheer foolishness--the hallucination or delusion of man'[s mind. Mediation is a universal phenomenon that has no cultural or religious bounds; for it has been in existence since the inception of man. What we intend to show in this article is that mediation is an integral process of man's mind. We, of Western culture and European religious doctrine, haven't stressed the importance of mediation although many religious monks and orders perform it and know its significance. One might ask, what is meditation? Is it of any value to man's body, soul, and spirit? Has science verified and substantiated the claims of meditation? Does it have any merit other than that of a religious nature? Can it help modern man in his technological society to cope with the tremendous stress that he is under? These are just a few questions that this article intends to answer. It by no means intends to be a complete treatise or dissertation on the subject. The Last Six Commandments
As we have stated in previous issues of the "PLIM REPORT", Yahweh did not give the ten commandments to the children of Israel as a set of moral or ethic laws to live by. If this were true, then we have to ask the question:"why did Yahweh wait 2,513 years before telling man how to live?" Given man's intellect, the fact that he is a sociable creature, and he had setup various societies before the law was given to Israel, man should have discovered the principles laid down in the ten commandments hundreds of yeas earlier. History shows that the last six commandments are the basis for any society and reflect the universality of Yahweh. What Happened to Those That Tried the Messiah?
The obvious question that arises in any play or movie is: what happens to the villains? Everyone wants to know if he villains get their just reward. The characters that betrayed and crucified the Messiah were: Judas Iscariot, his disciple; Pontius Pilate, governor of Judea; Herod Antipas, the governor of Galilee; Caiphas, the high priest; Annas, former high priest and father-in-law of Caiphas; and the Sanhedrin council. These characters, that many may call villains, conducted the messiah's trial, interrogation, and crucifixion. It is the intent of this article to investigate their role in the Messiah's crucifixion and their fate afterward. Does the Devil Exist?, Part Two
In "Does the Devil Exist? (Part One)", we demonstrated the purpose for Lucifer by using the physical creation that science has proven consists of two electrical forces. According to atomic and nuclear research we see that physical matter is composed of positive and negative energy. It is the operation of these two powers that cause all energies, such as radio waves, visible light, and x-rays, to exist. In fact, everything in the universe, from the sun to our solar system to the nerve impulses traveling up and down our spinal cord, reflects positive and negative principles. They are necessary to maintain physical life. The student of divine metaphysics must understand that the protons and electrons within atoms are reflective of he principles laid down in the great spiritual body of Elohim. The natural or physical is a reflection of Spirit (John 3:12; Rom. 1:19-20); the ultimate parent source and substance. Now that we understand WHY Lucifer exists, this article will examine who created the devil, from what substance was he created, and was he first created evil or with a carnal state of mind (Rom. 8:6). The Effect of Joy on the Mind
Modern man is just beginning to understand the importance of joy in the mind. Joy is a very elusive and short-lived phenomenon in our technologically advanced culture. In a society full of thrill-seekers, man has turned to the most mundane and trivial things to obtain joy. The chief reason man can't find or experience happiness or joy is because of his limited definition of joy. According to the Webster's New World Dictionary, joy is defined as:"a very glad feeling; happiness; great pleasures; delight; 2. Anything that causes this feeling..."From these definitions, man has attached the feeling of joy to something physical or material, such as money, sex, sports, owning possessions, etc. These objects of joy are only types and shadows of the true joy which is spiritual (Rom. 1:19-20). So man has been on a wild goose chase pursuing the delusion of joy in his mind (Isa. 66:4). The Seventh Seal Explained in Revelations
The lamb opening the seventh seal on the Book ends this series of seven and begins the next series of seven trumpets to sound. The number seven has universal appeal and is an esoteric mystery throughout most cultures, but in Hebrew theology it is very prominent. The number 7' means perfection or completion. So this seventh seal must mean a completion or an end. The seventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Zain, which also denotes the number 7'. In the physical realm there are seven days in a week; seven colors in the rainbow; seven days in an octave of a piano, and seven continents on earth. Let us begin this interpretation of he symbolic meaning of the Apostle John's Panoramic vision. We have emphasized to the reader repeatedly that unless we have an understanding of the high priest and his operation in this tabernacle, we have no way of understanding the Apostle John's vision.
