The purpose of this lecture is to prove that the human mind can be poisoned as the result of certain traumas, relationships, and experiences, and believing certain ideas and thoughts. Mental poisoning alters the mind's perception, reason, emotions, and will. Now the results of mental poisoning affect the body because of the mind-body connection. Beliefs in your mind that foster anger, fear, and guilt affect both your body and soul. The Master Yahshua the Messiah said: "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. ... that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man (Matt 15:11, 17-20; see Jam. 3:6-8;)." The anecdote for mental poisoning is the truth (John 8:32).
