RECOMMENDED READING

Over the years each retreat packet has contained a recommended book to assist our spiritual growth and development. In the 2000 PLIM retreat packet we are recommending Volume II: Scarlet and the Beast, (English Freemasonry, Mother of Modern Cults Vis-à-vis Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots) by John Daniel (© 1994, JKI Publishing).

From the preface of the book, the author provides the essence of its contents.

"Scarlet and the beast, published in three volumes, is based on the prophecy of Jesus Christ as recorded by the Apostle John in Revelation 17 and 18. In these Scriptures, Christ details the machinations of two mysterious end-time world powers called Mystery Babylon and the Beast. The author has given Mystery Babylon the name 'Scarlet'.

The three volumes of Scarlet and the Beast expose Satan's battle in the modern era against the throne of God. The respective subtitles of this three-book series are: Volume 1: A History of the War between English and French Freemasonry; Volume II: English Freemasonry, Mother of Modern Cults Vis-à-vis Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots, and Volume III: English Freemasonry, Banking, and the Illegal Drug Trade." (We have copies of Volume III for those interested.)

I consider these books a must for any metaphysical library.
