Introduction
The current wave of violence, especially by white male adolescents, in the media today has persuaded many politicians, led by President Clinton, to demand that the American government institute some form of gun control or national gun registration in the country. Many Americans believe that gun owner’s registration can decrease violence by weeding out prospective criminals and crazed killers from purchasing weapons. However, gun reduction is not a popular idea in America. In our culture guns have played a crucial part in the birth of this country and are so much a part of the mindset that it is virtually impossible to remove the gun mentality from the people’s minds.
What is the intent of this article?
This article will show that guns are the outward manifestation of the inward principle of violence. Guns are the tools that people use to carry out violence in this age. In previous ages, men used swords, clubs, and rocks to carry out their acts of violence and the number of victims was much smaller. So outlawing the weapons of violence is not the issue.
The problem in America is spiritual and psychological, not religious as many believe. The Messiah told His disciples and religious teachers of Israel that man is not defiled by eating with unwashed hands, but by evil thoughts that proceed out from his heart (Mt. 15:16-20). The only hope for a solution is a transformation of the man’s psyche (mind). The Apostle Paul said that the mind had to be renewed (Rom. 12:2).
Can their be peace in Babylon?
Some New World Order proponents want the people to feel so hopeless and frustrated at the wanton violence present in the streets of America that they are willing to try any "snake oil" solution the politicians or anyone else provides.
This desire to sacrifice their rights for imposed peace and stability shows that the general public is ignorant of the purpose of Elohim. Many of the violent events that are occurring in the world and in America are the result and physical manifestation of the system the Apostle John in Revelation called Mystery Babylon the Great (Rev. 17:1-5). Simply put, the people as well as nations are being driven mad by the wine, meaning the dogma and mindset of Babylon. Any system that immerses men’s consciousness in materialism, humanism, hedonism, and false concepts of Elohim is bound to fall into a state of confusion and violence.
Now we will explore the reason why guns are so plentiful and understand their impact on violence.
Does the sell of illegal drugs supply cash for guns?
When one examines the gun problem closer, one finds that illegal drugs are fueling the crime problem in this country and the world. The men profiting from the sale of drugs have cash on hand to purchase automatic weapons for themselves and their gangs.
For example, prior to the crack cocaine problem in the inner cities, there was no such thing as drive-by shootings. Neither were these city gangs armed as they are today. AK-47s and Uzzi machine guns are as common as the old .38 caliber Smith and Wesson.
The majority of murders in large cities are drug related. Thanks to the American CIA, the country is overrun with drugs [For proof see the web site of former L.A. policemen Mike Ruppert at http://www.copvcia.com].
Do armed citizens stand in the way of the New World Order?
The founding fathers of the Constitution believed that civilian populations should be well armed to serve as a deterrent against a government becoming a dictatorship. This is why the Second Amendment of the Constitution gives "we the people the inalienable right to keep and bear arms."
A few Americans are well aware that some politicians want guns removed from American citizens so their agenda of the New World Order can proceed.
Would eliminating guns remove violence?
Even if it were possible to remove guns from every home, this would not do away with violence in America or the world. This solution fails because it deals with the symptoms and not the true cause of the problem, which is spiritual.
The solutions offered do not deal with the fundamental problem of a man’s psyche in this age, which is where the violence is found. In essence, we are dealing with a psychological and spiritual problem. The political solutions just will not work.
Does banning vices make them go away?
You would think that a country that banned alcohol would have learned something about dealing with social problems. Prohibition definitely did not stop people from drinking alcohol. In fact, it gave the gangster Al Capone an opportunity to build a criminal empire to satisfy the demand.
At one time the law banned the lottery. However, gambling and organized crime benefited greatly through illegal games. Looking for other means to raise state and municipality revenue, governments made these vices legal and now enjoy the tax revenue. However, the problem again shows that the government cannot dictate the solution to psychological and spiritual problems. They do not have the kind of power to transform mankind’s mind.
What is violence?
Now violence in reality is an inherent part of the man’s psyche, just as other attributes, such as love, compassion, will, and reason, are a part of the psyche. Webster’s New World Dictionary defines the word violence as follows. "1 physical force used so as to injure, damage, or destroy; extreme roughness of action; 2 intense, often devastatingly or explosively powerful force or energy, as of a hurricane or volcano; 3 a) unjust or callous use of force or power, as in violating another’s rights, sensibilities, etc. b) the harm done by this; 4 great force or strength of feeling, conduct, or expression; vehemence; fury." Thus, violence can have two states or types: one physical and another mental or psychological. This means that physical violence is just a physical manifestation of what is the mind (Rom. 1:19-20).
Violence is an invisible, abstract principle that can only be seen operating within some context. For example, it can be used to bring about changes in a political system or as a form of self defense.
Now the source of the principle of violence is Yahweh Elohim, who is the source and substance of all things or the "All in All." For His creatures to thoroughly understand this principle, Elohim has to provide both negative and positive manifestations of it.
In short, the principle of violence must take on some emotional form in the mind of angels and humans where it can be shaped psychologically and spiritually. There must be some concrete manifestation of violence, as in the case of the Word was made Flesh (Jn. 1:14). Before a person decides to kill, the violence is performed in the mind first. Thus, violence is a three-fold principle by the tabernacle pattern and Godhead.
Is all Violence evil?
Violence in itself is not necessarily evil. Violence is a principle that is part of survival and a self-defense mechanism of the human and animal kingdom. For example, violence is used as a means to obtain food for both man and animal, as in the case of lions killing an antelope for food.
It is the context in which it is displayed that determines the intent. No one would question the use of violence to liberate someone from slavery or to overthrow a tyrant.
Any astronomer knows that the universe is a violent place. They have seen new galaxies being born in a very violent manner. Even the destruction of stars by so-called black holes is very violent, but they serve as the basis for the birth of new stars. Physicians will also verify that the birth of a child often has a violent beginning. What this means is that from a truly divine sense, violence is the principle that initiates change, which is a new creature, for better and worse.
How does evil or Satan inflame violence?
The angel Lucifer first used violence, as a principle, in the negative sense without firing one shot. Now Ezekiel the prophet, in Babylon, saw the King of Tyre in a vision symbolized as the angel Lucifer (Ezk. 28:1-4, 11-14).
Elohim tells Ezekiel that the first instance of violence occurred with Lucifer among the angelic host. "You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned (Ezk. 28:15)." His violence consisted of the lies that he spoke that deceived many angels and created chaos in their hearts and minds.
This violence occurred when Lucifer said that he was the true and only Elohim that all the angels should worship (Isa. 14:12-14). He subverted their faith in Elohim and eventually a war broke out between Michael and his angels and Lucifer and his angels (Rev. 12:7-8).
The war ended with Michael casting out Lucifer and his host from heaven (Rev. 12:9). Ezekiel said the following about this event. "So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of Elohim (God), and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones (Ezk. 28:15-16 NIV)."
Can violence be used to overcome evil?
In the angelic creation we have violence being used in war to overthrow evil, which was embodied in the angel Lucifer and his host. Here we have Elohim directing the positive violence of Michael that began a new era in heaven where peace and the kingdom was restored.
From this war the angels understood the principle of evil and the forces of violence that are unleashed by it. Now these principles had to manifest in the earth-plane as they were in heaven, "As Above So Below" (Rom. 1:19-20).
What violence occurred in the First Age?
Now those that think banning guns will eliminate violence shows their ignorance of human history and the Bible. Most of the violence committed toward man throughout history did not involve the use of guns for they were not invented.
What most that are ignorant of the Bible do not understand is that Elohim ended a whole first age in time (beginning with the expulsion of Adam Eve from the garden to the flood), as the result of rampant violence over the earth (Gn. 6:11-13). There were no guns in existence at this time, yet the people were able to do violence to one another with the help of Lucifer and his host.
Moses wrote the following about the vision that Elohim showed him. "The earth also was corrupt before Elohim (God), and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth (Gen. 6:11-13 KJV)." Here Elohim ended a world or era with a violent flood to end the evil violence among men.
Why did the Messiah’s disciples carry swords?
What is startling to some Bible students is that the Messiah’s disciples were packing weapons, swords and knives, for their self-defense. This is while Elohim was with them in a physical body.
When Yahshua the Messiah was in the garden praying before His crucifixion, Judas Iscariot came with all the priests and soldiers to arrest the Messiah. But Peter drew a sword and cut off the ear of the high priest’s servant (Jn. 18:10).
The point here is that Peter’s use of violence was to prevent soldiers from taking the Messiah, who is the Truth, Light and the Way (Jn. 14:6). The Messiah told Peter that He could protect Himself by calling a legion of angels, but the scriptures could not be fulfilled (Matt. 26:53).
Clearly, the Messiah suffered a violent death in the hands of the religious leaders of Israel. There is further proof that the weapons were not the cause for the violence. It was the Messiah’s violent death that brought an end to the Old Covenant or the Law of Moses (Rom. 10:1-4: Heb. 10th chp.; Col. 2:14-21).
Can we compare Israel’s violence and America’s violence?
Now the current violence in America and the world is not unique in history. Israel was plagued with this problem when they had perverted the Law of Moses. In fact, the prophet Habakkuh cried to Yahweh about this problem. His words are as follows. "How long, Yahweh, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, "Violence!" but you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted (Hab. 1:2-4 NIV)." Violence is being revealed to the prophet Habakkuh to show the state of Israel’s heart and mind.
Is Mystery Babylon the source of violence?
What people of the world do not understand is that there is a system of ideologies in existence today that is the perpetrator of physical, psychological, and spiritual violence. The brain washing or mind control of religions and political ideologies, such as Roman Catholicism, Nazism, Fascism, Capitalism, Communism (Illumanatism), etc., basically does this.
The Apostle John called this system Mystery Babylon the Great. In these ideological wars there is no peace of mind between the nations, for they breed strife and confusion, which result in physical wars and violence. This is the cancer that has spread through the nations.
Now the treatment for this "cancer of violence" is not gun registration or removing guns, for the problem is in the heart and mind. After the racist Nazi Benjamin Smith shot her husband seven times in the back in front of their three children during his July 4, 1999 weekend shooting spree in the Chicago area this summer, the wife of the slain Northwestern University former coach, Ricky Byrdsong said that American does not have a gun problem, but a heart problem.
Thus, the gun registration will not solve the violence problem. It would be like giving an aspirin to a cancer patient. It may stop the pain or fever, but it does nothing for the cancer, the real cause of the illness.
Likewise, Mystery Babylon must be destroyed, by violence for it is the cause of this spiritual madness. John said the beast would burn the harlot (Rev. 17:16). This means the beastly mentality or the principles used to rule the nations would consumed the harlot Mystery Babylon.
In other words, the creature (the Beast with the seven heads and 10 horns, Rev. 17:3) that Mystery Babylon--The Whore--created has become a Frankenstein and it will turn on the master and consume her by violence (Rev. 17:16-17).
