 Is control of oil the reason President Bush wants war against Iraq? Newspaper accounts throughout the world have addressed this point. Here are a few examples.

  Has President Bush Asked Congress & Polls?

President Bush asked Congress for approval of a resolution to go to war with Iraq and to remove Hussein Saddam as leader of Iraq. Congress approved it by an overwhelming majority although both political parties heatedly debated the issue.

So-called polls have shown that approximately two-thirds of Americans are willing to have U.S. soldiers shed blood to liberate Iraq in a UN coalition. Now France, Russia and China are some of the proponents against the U.S. war on Iraq. Their feelings are shared by the Islamic world, who bitterly opposes this war.

The American people are again being led into a war, which has been directed by propaganda and the public relation firms of Madison Avenue. The corporate news media is Americans only source of info in this crisis. Most of this info is biased toward the U.S. government’s policy toward Iraq. In order to evaluate any situation all truthful pertinent facts are need.

A few authors and a president warns us about placing a lot of faith in the media. The Messiah warns us not to be deceived.

Most Americans are oblivious to the deception taking in the press. Few America are asking hard questions concerning the Iraq crisis or have the info to look at this situation more objectively.

To combat this type of deception and propaganda, one has to be armed with the truth and facts in order to make an informed decision on the matter. The scripture says prove all things and hold fast to those things that are true (Jn. 8:32).

  What is the intent of this article?

In this brief article, it is my goal to arm you with certain facts so that you can rightly divided the word of truth from all the lies, misinformation and disinformation of propaganda.

This article will also reveal one the “great merchants” of Mystery Babylon the Great, the OIL cartel (Rev. 18:23) that controls foreign policies of major nations of the world, as the Apostle John saw in his panoramic vision in A.D. 96, which very few Christian ministers speak about.

All truth seekers must understand and know for their eternal salvation that Mystery Babylon the Great is first a great commercial enterprise that controls the earth economically just as the great ancient city of Tyre was a great trading center (Isa. 23^rd chp.).

Here are a few questions that this article will address:

1. Did you know that Kuwait was part of Iraq for over 400 years before England partitioned it? It has only been recognizes as a nation since 1960 in protest by Iraq.

2. Has Iraq brought this issue up for over 80 years before various international bodies such as the World Court, League of Nation and the UN?

3. Did you know that Iraq was baited into invading Kuwait?

These are a few questions that this article will answer. It is our hope at PLIM that this article makes you better informed on the issues.

The Oil Cartel

What most Americans do not understand is that the Big Three Oil Cartel, composed of corporations in America, Britain and Dutch, has controlled oil directly and indirectly in the Middle East/Persian Gulf for more than a hundred years.

Beginning in the 1880’s, which was the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, oil became an important commodity for many of the European economies. Now the Big Three Oil Cartel became the great power in shaping the world for their benefit, as will be shown in this article.

Now the Big Three-Oil Cartel is composed of the American oil companies led by the Rockefellers’ Standard Oil monopoly, the British Petroleum (BP) and Dutch Shell Oil. Before the current mass mergers, in the early 1970’s and 1990’s these oil companies were called the seven sisters, which were Standard Oil of California, Indiana, Standard Oil New Jersey, Texaco, Mobil Shell and BP. So, for all practical purposes this oil cartel (corporations) ruled the world.

Ultimately, they wanted to gain control over the vast oil reserves throughout the world and this includes areas in Asia areas. Michel Collon confirms the importance of oil as a commodity in the world market in his book Monopoly. He says: “If you want to rule the world, you need to control oil.  All the oil,  Anywhere.”

  Does oil influence foreign policies of the major world nations?

Many in the Christian world do not understand that the Bible prophesied the current economic system of the world. In fact the ancient city of Tyre was a great trading center and prefigured our present economic system.

Ezekiel describes the king of Tyre as follows: “By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick (trade) hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Ezek 28:5).” Today modern day Mystery Babylon is a great trading system where oil is the largest revenue commodity and many of the great merchants have lifted up their hearts because of their wealth.

  This oil cartel is responsible for most of the wars and revolutions in the 20^th century. For example, it was the oil cartel that financed the Communist revolution in Russia in 1917. The Russian leader Lenin was told that he would be financed and armed if he gave the cartel oil concession of the Russian Baku oil fields.

The reason that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, which began WWII was that President FDR placed an oil embargo on Japan for going into Southeast Asia.

Professor Antony Sutton in his classic book Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler (WSRH) that the Standard Oil (Rockefeller Family controlled) group committed treason by furnishing Hitler’s Germany with oil technology that enabled Germany to start WW II. Germany had no crude oil supplies. They had to be imported. To produce gasoline Nazis had to use their huge coal supplies. Standard Oil entered into an agreement with Germany Corporation I. G. Farben and gave them a patent process for producing synthetic gasoline from hydrogenation and iso-octane.  

Professor Antony Sutton writes: “Evidence presented to the Truman, Bone, Kilgore Committees after WW II confirmed that Standard Oil had at the same time seriously imperiled the war preparations of the United States.”  He goes on to say: “Accordingly [concluded the Kilgore Committee] Standard fully accomplished I. G.’s [German Corporation] purpose of preventing United States production by dissuading American rubber companies from undertaking independent research in developing synthetic rubber process (WSRH p. 68).” These are few instances to show the power of the oil cartel Again truthful historical facts show us that oil has played a very important part in world history.

The Apostle James warns us about why wars occur. James wrote that it was because of greed. “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts (Jam. 4:1-3).”

Due to the space limitation this article will only provide a brief history of British oil interests in Iraq for the last 100 years fomenting revolution and strife to get control of the oil of Iraq.

  Brief history of Iraq and oil with Anglo-America

The British in 1880-89 entered into an agreement with Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah (1896 – 1915) of Kuwait to partition the rich oilfields of Rumalia from Iraq. Kuwait had been a province of Iraq for over 400 years. None of the local population had any say in this agreement. Thus, the British became the protectorate of Kuwait.

The British invaded Iraq in 1915 and setup two puppets governments in Iraq one in the north and the south. In order to maintain control over Iraq and the oilfields, the British had to constantly kept strife going in Iraq by using the Kurds minorities. President Bush in the 1990’s used the Kurds in the same manner to try to overthrow Saddam Hussien.

Britain used their secret intelligence agency MI6 to encourage the Kurds to revolt against Iraq and setup autonomous state. The British told the Iraqis that the Kurds want their independence. This resulted in a two-year war (1922-24) between them, which Iraq won and in which the Kurds leaders were executed. During this period the British continued to maintain their control over the oilfields.

  Was Iraq given independence by League of Nations?

Italy, France and Russia wanted Iraq to have their independence by the laws of the League of Nations. This angered the Dutch Shell Petroleum and British Petroleum because they thought they would lose their oil concession that was up in 1996. The League of Nation awarded the Musul oilfields to Iraq, which further undercut British influence there.

Again the British stirred up the Kurds to revolt two more times, in 1925 and 1932 in order to reverse the League of Nations’ decision concerning the Musul oilfields. Both times Iraq defeated these revolts.  The British intelligence again stirred up the Kurds in 1965. It should be noted that Kurds have been constantly been used by the British and USA to stir up strife in Iraq with a hope get getting a sovereign nation of their own, which never happen.

Finally, in 1932 the League of Nations granted Iraq their independence with full control of the Musul oilfields. The British oil companies stayed for 12 years and then in 1948 they were forced to leave Iraq. However, they did not leave Kuwait.

  Was Kuwait historically part of Iraq?

Now Iraq Premier Hassan Adul Kassem, in June 1961, demanded that Britain return Kuwait to Iraq. He said that it had been apart of Iraq for over 400 years and the Turkish Ottoman Empire recognized it as a part of Iraq. He wanted to negotiate, according to the terms of Lausanne Conference (1923).

Now Premier Kassem was mysteriously assassinated and the British government declared Kuwait an independent government in 1962. Troops were sent to Kuwait to prevent Iraq from retaking it.

Various premiers of Iraq continued their fight before the League of Nations and its successor the United Nations to get back Kuwait. This proved futile for Iraq, for the British were bitterly opposed to this. In fact they signed a defense agreement with Kuwait.

Both the American and British Oil companies refused to give up their goal of controlling these vast oil fields of Iraq. Britain continues to push the Kurds independence so that they can get their hands on the Musul oilfields.

Dr. Coleman in his book Deception by Diplomacy stated the reason that USA-British armed Iran and Iraq and caused them war with each other.  He states, “The war was designed to weaken both Iraq and Iran to the point that they would no longer be a credible threat to the British and the U.S. Oil interest, and as a military force, and they would no longer pose a threat to Israel (p. 46).” 

This is the reason that in 1990 the U.S. tricked Suddam Hussein into invading Kuwait, which was rightly Iraq. British and the U.S. oil interest want this oil.  President Bush and his oil cabinet members want to finish off Saddam Hussein under the guise that he has weapons of mass destruction and take control of these oil fields again.

  What does the oil cartel want?

The reader must keep mind that these British and American oil interests are the great merchants of Mystery Babylon and their purpose is to weaken the nations of the earth (Isa. 14:12) and establish a one world socialist government that they would control, which include all resources of the earth, as prophesied in the book of Revelation (Rev. 13^th   17th –18^th chp.). No matter what devilish man-made system man devises, Dr. Sutton stated: “it is a system of plunder, organization device to get everyone living at the expense of everyone else, while the elitist leaders, the rulers and the politicians, scalp the cream off the top.”

  Conclusion

A brief history of how the U.S. armed Saddam Hussein will show that American oil interest are part of the secret government that controls this country, which the voting middle class does not control.

There is no doubt that Hussein is a dictator, but it has always been the policy of the oil cartel to put dictators in power in a country as long as they go along with the cartel’s program.

Finally, those that have been brainwashed into thinking this war will bring peace to the region fail to understand the scriptures. King David writes in the Psalm that Yahweh Elohim is the only one able to bring peace. “He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am Yahweh: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth (Ps 46:9-10).”
