HOW WILL GOD RECONCILE AND

JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS?

By Dr. Henry C. Kinley

NOTE: Dr. Kinley gave this lecture to a class held at 1347 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood, California, on Tuesday, December 9, 1958. Although the True Names were revealed to Dr. Kinley in a vision in 1931 he used Lord, God, and Jesus Christ until he published Elohim, The Archetype Original Pattern of the Universe in 1961.

Throughout his lecture Dr. Kinley refers to 3-fold illustrations to help the audience follow certain points. We have inserted three-fold charts in this article as a visual aid. Minor editorial changes also have been made for clarity and to preserve the flow of thought.

Greetings, in the Bond of Peace. I am happy indeed to be in California to present to you, the people of California, the message that God gave to me in the year 1932. I would like to say that at one time I was confused with the many religious philosophies and dogmas. I, like many other people, belonged to this church and that church. In fact, I was an assistant pastor. I reviewed the teachings and philosophies of all the theology books that I was able to get my hands on and I have studied all the Biblical commentators. Youll believe me when I say Ive spent quite a lot of money seeking all of my life, better than 40 years, to find and know something about the Great God of this Stellar and Ecclesiastical Universe. I wanted to know Him as He really was.

Is it possible for the world religions to agree?

Then a thought came into my mind as I went along and listened to the philosophies I read so much about. I wondered how God could possibly judge the world in righteousness. How could every man see eye to eye and face to face? How could that be accomplished? I began to look at it like this. Id go to one church and then to another and Id examine each philosophy and each doctrine one by one. When I was not able to arrive at any conclusion at all, I had to throw up my hands in despair.

Could I share my concept with the world?

Then I decided I would impart my concept to the world. So I went to the store and bought some tablets. I began to write; to tell people what I thought about God and the Universe in which I live. Finally, I concluded after I was about 25 or 30 pages deep in it, that theres men everywhere, women too for that matter, that were far more qualified and capable to express their convictions than I was. What good would another concept do?

Then I went into a melancholy state for two years of my life. I did nothing but walk around and look at nature in its simplicity with that yearning and burning desire in my heart that I must find God.

What happened when His concept conflicted with the churchs?

Mind you, a few years before that, I was an assistant pastor, if you please. I taught someone else what I thought was right. Finally, by and by, my concept conflicted with those who were supposed to be my superiors. I tried to go along with it and I thought it was a terrible thing for a person not to be able to express how he felt about the Great God he was supposed to be affiliated with and worship. So I decided that I would search and search and search and search and search, without giving up, until I found God. I had to know now!

Will men ever agree on philosophical concepts?

Finally, one day I was sitting in the confines of my home. I was there alone with that same question mark in my mind - - How would God ever be able to judge the world in righteousness? I thought about some of the passages and scriptures such as Isaiah 35:8 that states: "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein." Then I looked again and I said theres an awful lot of men in the world and I wouldnt just say they were fools. But they cant agree on many of the philosophical concepts.

Does God have a pattern, purpose, and plan?

It would seem to me that God ought to have some kind of a definite purpose and a definite plan if hes going to judge the world in righteousness. Now just what is that plan, what is that purpose, and how do you go about arriving at the same conception to reconcile mankind universally so? While I sat there in that deep study (I told you Ive been thinking about it for two years), suddenly, it dawned on me for the first time in my life.

Can anyone refute this teaching?

For the past 26 years, (it will be 27 years in June of 1959), there has not been a single person that was able to refute that which God revealed to me. Frankly, I dont think there is a man living on earth that is able to do it. Now weve been into colleges and seminaries. Weve spoken to some of the most brilliant and academically trained persons in theology that you would ever hope to meet. It is not only my contention, but also theirs, that this is fool proof. It is not foolishness, but a reality. It comes directly from God.

Why cant people agree?

Then that made me wonder again. Why is it that the great esoteric secret, which is laid down there and outlined in the Bible confuses people and they have no way of becoming reconciled one with the other? They dont know how to go about it. Yet I dont feel justified in criticizing somebody else because I too didnt know and wouldnt have known tonight if God hadnt shown me. So I dont feel a bit exalted by it, in fact it makes me feel very humble in my heart.

Can the answer be so simple?

Then I want to say its the simplicity of it that fools so many people. We spoke of it in those little books, The Divine Pattern Of The Universe, as a subject. God has a pattern; errors and mistakes are not necessary. Then I finally understood, as David (I Chron. 28:19). He didnt understand until he went into the sanctuary, and neither did I. But when we learn to use that yardstick, or that figure, or that pattern, which God gave to man, then all doubts, all fears, all misunderstandings will fade into oblivion. Truthfully, I would like to say to you that it makes absolutely no difference regardless of what faith, what church, what denomination, what sect, what cult, what creed, nationality, or origin. None of it makes any difference: not your occupation, your standard of living, your environment, your surroundings, nor your reputation. Its possible for you to know God in His reality and you would be surprised at the simplicity. Its not a hard job. We make knowing God a hard job because we dont know what to use to learn of Him. God put it here Himself, that is the DIVINE PATTERN OF THE UNIVERSE.

Can questions be answered by understanding the divine pattern and purpose?

Let me say this to you. We have heard of many systems of cosmology or how the universe came into existence. Weve heard much about the structure of mankind and just many things. Here lately weve heard a lot about the atoms, molecules and electrons. We say were living in an Atomic Age and all of that is in the Purpose and Plan of God and is possible for you to know. Anything you want to know is possible. They have asked me questions for 26 years, and I can answer any question you can ask me pertaining to the Purpose of God. Listen, I want to tell you this, so you know where I stand. With a profound knowledge of that Purpose that Pattern and of that Plan and how it works in this universe, I dont hesitate to challenge the world. Now some may say that makes me an intolerable figure. No, I beg your pardon. I just said I dont have anything to boast about. The thing Im going about using is NOT my personal wisdom and intelligence. Thats not it at all and neither will yours do. We have to dispense and come boldly to the throne of grace--if we really want to know. I want to say these few words and tell you a little something about the Divine Pattern of the Universe in a condensed way. Then well have someone else say something to you about it.

Now it is in your Bibles. Exodus 25:40 states: "And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount." This picture that you see on this chart illustrates the exodus of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt (see top chart on p. 10. Chronologists tell us that this event occurred about 1490 B.C. Theres so much error in what theologians speak. Im almost tempted in every phrase to correct them. [I have to comment on the term B.C]. Theres no such thing as B.C. But for the sake of imparting to you this erroneous thought, let me clarify that nothing ever was BEFORE CHRIST. So we start out with a theological error. But, for the sake of explanation, chronologists, such as, Asher, Ussher and Hastings say that the migration from Egypt through the Wilderness of Sinai and into the Land of Canaan, happened around B.C. 1490.

Has God appeared and shown Himself to be a pattern?

Now Israel went through the Red Sea and into the Wilderness. They were all baptized in the cloud and in the sea. Then God had called Moses up to Mount Sinai. While he was up in that mountain, God showed Moses the creation of heaven and earth during the first six solar days, just like the sun rising and setting. Moses entered into the midst of the cloud that brought them out of the land of Egypt or the phenomenal cloud. Moses went to the top of the mountain and entered into the midst of the cloud and then God appeared (see bottom illustration on p. 10). I mean, just like Im looking at you! Now somebody may say: "I dont believe in that anthropomorphic concept of God. God is not a man like that!" Well, I agree. Spirit is inconceivable. God is Spirit, but dont forget that He is powerful enough to present Himself to mankind at anytime, in anyway He chooses to do it. In fact, every cosmic phase of nature gives some or another expression of the great God of the Stellar Universe.

If you look at the 24th chapter, 9th and 10th verses of Exodus, you will find that He presented Himself in the form of a man to Moses. Thats what you see here, and then transformed Himself into the Tabernacle, an incorporeal tabernacle. He told Moses to make sure that he made all things.
