Trade Center on 9-11 a Sign of a Future Event?

Origins

Geography and Origins

New York City is located on the Eastern Atlantic coast of the United States, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The city’s center resides at the exact location of 40 degrees, 42 minutes, 51 seconds N latitude, and 74 degrees, 0 minutes 23 seconds W longitude. New York City is made of five boroughs, each of which is a county. Brooklyn (Kings Co.) and Queens occupy the western portion of Long Island, while Staten Island (Richmond Co.) and Manhattan are completely on their own landmasses. The Bronx, to the north, is attached to the New York State mainland.

Introduction

America and the whole world were stunned and mourned over the September 11, 2001 (911), terrorist attack on the U.S. Pentagon and New York City World Trade Center (WTC) towers, that killed over 3,000 and wounded over 1,000. [NOTE: The number of dead and wounded will always be undercounted since it will never reflect the undocumented workers who were in the U.S. illegally and can never be reported by their families.] This attack has altered the American way of life forever and changed the concept that the homeland of the world’s only superpower is invulnerable to attack.

Although most Americans fail to understand the prophetic omen or sign of this event according to the scriptures, nearly all Christians are astounded at this incident and many believe that the September attack will led eventually to Armageddon. What Christians fail to understand is the connection between this attack and the prophecy of Babylon’s destruction in Revelation (Rev. 18:9-10). This shows that Christian ministers are blind and the Messiah said that the blind would lead the blind and they would all fall into the ditch (Lk. 6:39).

Other Americans try to understand the future implication of these attacks by turning to the writings of Nostradamus, a 16th century French physician and astrologer, who is credited with many prophesies for the last 300 years and was so reported in the New York Times Sept. 17, 2001.

Those that understand know that Yahweh has no respect for flesh, for He said that flesh is as grass (Isa. 40:6-7). Neither is Yahweh a respecter of nations (Rom. 2:11). If He destroyed Israel numerous times for disobedience to His laws and ordinances of the old Covenant, how is America or any other nation exempt from His spiritual laws?

In short, Yahweh destroyed the city of Jerusalem, Solomon’s temple, and the Gentile cities of Babylon and Tyre (Isa. 13th, 23rd, 47th, Jer. 50-1 chp.). The Master in His ministry prophesied the destruction of the Herodian temple and Jerusalem (Mt. 24:1-2: Lk. 21:5-6) by the Roman Emperor Titus in A.D. 70. My question then, is the great city of New York or any other earthly city exempt?

What is the intent of this article?

The intent of this article is to show that the attack on New York, being one of the cities of Mystery Babylon, foretells the fate of the entire system. Most Americans are totally ignorant of the purpose, pattern and plan of Yahweh. The book of Revelation prophesied the destruction of a great city that will end all buying and selling, as stated in the 17th and 18th chapters of Revelation.

Revelation also stated that the destruction of this system would end this system, which is the so-called end of the world that most Christians believe is coming. It is also reflected in the destruction of the Herodian temple that ended the Jews temple worship and the Messiah’s death, the Old Covenant. It will also begin the renovation of the earth with the new heaven and new earth, in righteousness (Rev 20:1-2).

This article will focus on the symbolic representation of these two WTC towers. The collapse of these towers, which stunned structural engineers and architects, is the key to understanding the omen of this event. The closing of the stock market for four days furnished another clue. In short, people are not conscious that the Bible prophesied all these events.

Is New York, The Financial Capital of The USA?

New York city is not only the most populated city in the USA, but it is also the financial and commerce capital of this country and the world because Wall Street is located there. This is where the world’s largest stock market, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is located. New York City is also the largest market for most USA government bonds and many other major commodities are bought and sold here, such as gold, silver, oil platinum, cocoa, coffee, etc. New York is also a major port city for the USA.

Wall Street is the second financial capital of the world. The City of London is the first world financial and commerce capital. All major corporations in the world have their stock listed on the NYSE and they are bought and sold each day there.

NYSE is the lifeblood of all corporations. Without it, corporations would have a difficult time raising capital for their companies. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRB), which is the most powerful of the 12 Federal Reserve banks in the USA, is located here.

Do major commercial centers exist in modern and ancient cities?

Modern civilizations have cities that are financial and commercial centers just as ancient cultures have great cities, such as Babylon, Tyre and Rome, which were major centers of commerce.

In ancient times the temples in these cities were the places where the priests created money and conducted banking. They controlled the country along with the kings. In short, New York City, especially Wall Street, is the temple of finance and commerce in the USA along with its captains and priests of commerce (Isa. 23:8).

Later in this article we will show that Wall Street was very instrumental in financing WWI, WWII, and the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 in Russia that overthrew the Czar and replaced him with Communism.

Tyre and Babylon

To fully understand the influence of New York’s Wall Street and the City of London’s Lombard Street on the world and their final fate, an understanding of the fate of the ancient cities Babylon and Tyre must be fully understood.

Now the Bible, especially the Old Testament, speaks of two Gentile cities, Babylon and Tyre (a Phoenician city), which were immense, wealthy, commercial and religious centers, which controlled and influenced the affairs of the world at that time.

In fact, these are the only two Gentile cities about which many chapters in the Old Testament are devoted (Isa 14th, 47th chp; 23rd chp.; Ezk. 26th - 28th chp). The kings of these cities were worshiped as gods along with their idols. Prophets of Israel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Isaiah were shown visions that foretold the fate of these cities. The kings of Tyre and Babylon were used as an analogy for Lucifer, for they were worshipped as gods. They also greatly corrupted and weakened the nations. These Gentile cities reflect the influence that the archangel Lucifer wielded in heaven among the angels there (Rev. 12:8-9).

Isaiah wrote of the Babylonian king: “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! (Isa. 14:12-14).’ Now the ancient kingdom of Babylon did weaken nations by revolutions and finance.

Isaiah goes on to say the following about how Yahweh was going to weaken Babylon for their wickedness. “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, (Isa 14:16-17)?’ Here we see Babylon referred to as destroying cities.

Isaiah prophesied that the Persian king, Cyrus the Great, along with the Medes, would destroy this great city (Isa. 13th; 44:28).

Ezekiel wrote the following of the King of Tyre. “Because your heart is lifted up, And you say, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,’ Yet you are a man, and not a god, Though you set your heart as the heart of a god (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you! With your wisdom and your understanding You have gained riches for yourself, And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches (Ezk. 28:2-5).

Yahweh destroyed the cities of Babylon and Tyre because they weakened other nations through their subterfuges and idolatry. Yahweh said He would destroy Tyre for the abundance of trading which made it rich and exalted. “By the abundance of your trading. … You became filled with violence within, And you sinned. You defiled your sanctuaries. By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you. (Ezek 28: 16, 18). The Cities of London and New York are the modern day counterparts of Babylon and Tyre representing a system called Mystery Babylon the Great where much merchandise is traded.

Modern Babylon System

When the Apostle John had his vision on the Isle of Patmos, in A.D. 96, Rome was the commercial and political center of the world. John referred to Rome in analogy to describe a future system, called Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots. It would control the world in much the same fashion as Rome, but on a grander and more perfected scale, mainly through economics and intrigue. One has to realize that the mystery of iniquity is being perfected as it moves through the ages of time. In other words, it must reach maturity in much the same fashion as the physical body reaches adulthood.

John describes Mystery Babylon in the 18th chapter of the Book of Revelation as a system that buys and sells commodities, such as gold, silver, linen, cattle, etc. He states “…the merchants of these things, which were made rich by her (Rev 18:15), …” No one can doubt that this verse describes the main commercial centers of Mystery Babylon the Great: New York and London.

New York and London

Now the City of London and New York and the captains of industries are also the chief proponents and espousers of the One World government or the New World Order that has weakened nations, mainly the third world. The international banking system of New York and the city of London enslaves these nations with all kind of debt. These nations are also a source of cheap labor. In short, they are the feudal slaves of the western world (USA, Europe and Japan). Very few things are manufactured in the USA and Europe any more. They are made in third world nations and China.

Although it is not a part of official American history, it is a historical fact substantiated with government records that Wall Street financed wars and revolutions, which confirmed the scriptures that Mystery Babylon weakened the nations. Wall Street financed WWI, WWII, and the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 that overthrew the Czar and replaced it with Communism.

The book Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin states: “Not only did England and France pay for their supplies with money furnished by Wall Street, but they made their purchases through the same medium. ...Inevitably the House of Morgan was selected for this important task. Thus, the war had given Wall Street an entirely new role. Hitherto it has been exclusively the headquarters of finance; now it became the greatest industrial mart the world had ever known. In addition to selling stocks and bonds, financing railroads, and performing the other tasks of a great banking center, Wall Street began to deal in shells, cannon, submarines, blankets, clothing, shoes, canned meats, wheat, and the thousands of other articles needed for the prosecution of a great war.”

Quoting from the book Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler by Anthony Sutton, the late Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company said the following in the New York Times in 1938 about the Wall Street finances. “ … if the financiers had their way we’d be in war now. They want war because they make money out of conflict - out of human misery that wars brings (p. 90.)”. From these two quotes there is no doubt that New York plays a major role in financing wars and undermining countries for the love of money.

World Trade Center Twin Towers

The WTC twin towers were the tallest buildings in the USA; 110 stories in each tower and 1200 feet tall. They were located in the center of the financial district not too far from Wall Street. These towers had many leading financial firms, such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley to list a few, located there. These firms from all over the world established markets that bought and sold gold, silver, oil, government bonds, etc. The towers were leading landmarks that made up the city’s skyline.

Symbolically, the towers of WTC represented the two pillars of the world financial system that control the world, namely New York, in the new world of America and the City of London in the old world, which the apostle John called Mystery Babylon the Great. This is confirmed by the Roman Emperor Constantine I (306-337 A.D.), who had two cities to unify and control the vast Roman Empire, the old city of Rome in the West and the new city of Constantinople in the East called today Istanbul in Turkey. He also converted to Christianity and introduced it in the Roman Empire to unify it. This is why the terrorists chose the towers as a target in New York. These two towers represent the two pillars Boaz and Jachin of Solomon’s Temple (1kgs. 7:21)

The collapse of the WTC towers has special significance for it’s foretelling of an omen or prophesy in the book of Revelation. Understanding the symbolic meaning of the WTC is the key to making sense of this terrorist attack.

Destruction of the WTC and The Book of Revelation

New Yorkers and Americans adored these WTC towers in much the same fashion as Israel at the time of the Messiah adored the Herodian temple in Jerusalem. In fact His disciples showed Him all the beautiful stones and gifts of the temple after they came out of it.

The Master prophesied the destruction of the Jerusalem and the temple. He said: “As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down (Lk. 21:6).” In A.D. 70 the Roman Emperor Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Herodian Temple. Likewise, the destruction of WTC towers, the temple of high finance and commerce, is a sign of Mystery Babylon’s future.

The key to understanding the meaning of this event is the length of time these towers stood before collapsing to the ground into a pile of debris. When the hijackers flew the two airlines into the WTC towers, looking like some Hollywood movie effects, both buildings literally collapsed within an hour. In fact the first tower stood for approximately 45 minutes before collapsing and the second tower fell in a little over an hour.

The Apostle John wrote: “And the kings of the earth, who committed fornication and were wanton with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning; they will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, “Alas! alas! thou great city, thou mighty city, Babylon! In one hour has thy judgment come Rev 18:9-10.” John prophesied in one hour the mighty city of Babylon will be destroyed. The two WTC towers symbolically represent Babylon so they had to fall in an hour. We also see that John said in Revelation that the “merchants of the earth” would mourn for the great city. Likewise, people from around the world mourned for the WTC.

In fact, the world’s largest stock market, Wall Street’s New York Stock Exchange, was closed for four days - no one could buy nor sell. This confirmed the Apostle John’s vision for he wrote “And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more (Rev 18:11):”

Finally, no one will doubt that the hijackers that accomplished this horrific act are as brute beasts and without any compassion. This is confirmed in John. He was shown in a vision that a beast with ten horns hated Mystery Babylon the great and would burn the whore with fire. This is what caused the towers to collapse - the heat from the jet fuel.

Conclusion

Everyone has to realize that the world is living in the days of the Book Revelation whether one is conscious of this fact or not. Many signs verify this fact, especially the 911attack on America. The attack of the WTC towers were especially foretelling as we have shown in this article.

People of the world are not conscious of the fact that the economic system is a part of Mystery Babylon the Great. It is the chief cause of most major wars and it perpetuates strife between nations. James said: “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war (Jm. 4:1-2).”

The bottom line is that the purpose of Yahweh is coming to a climax and the scripture foretell of the destruction of this system with a New Heaven and Earth coming in righteousness (Rev. 21:1-5). This is what people are ignorant of and should be looking for, but the world leaders and ministers of various religions are blind to this.

One thing is clear that many future events will further reflect the scriptures, since it is impossible for them to be broken or to be false, such that even a blind man can see the signs.
